Cookies and Analytics
We measure how the site is used so we can improve it. This is our own measurement, kept on our own systems: we do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking service, and we do not sell or share this data.
No cookies are used for analytics. Instead, each visit is counted using a code created from your network address and browser, combined with a secret and the current date. Your network address is never stored. Because the date forms part of that code, it changes every day, which means it cannot be used to recognise you tomorrow or to follow you across other websites.
Alongside that code we record the page visited, whether the device is a phone, tablet or desktop, and the website that sent you to us: the site name only, never the full address of the page you came from.
The site sets one cookie, and only for staff: it keeps a member of our team signed in to the private admin area. It is not set for visitors.
